York YLAA Micro-Channel coils are one of our most common replacements of a York unit. Emergent Coils recognizes the need for customers to fix or replace these coils asap when they are down. For that reason we try to stock these microchannel coils as best we can. Our replacements are designed to be a drop-in fit. The coils measure 47.5" high by 83.5" long and 1.5" wide.

York YLAA Installation

• Remove existing YLAA coil(s) in accordance to refrigerant recovery regulations.
• Install new YLAA micro channel. Condenser inlet must be on the top. Do not install upside down. 
• Use mounting sheet metal screws to fasten coil flange.
• Both existing 3/4" inlet connections need to be combined to a single 1-1/8" inlet connection for easier piping
• Connect 3/4" outlet connection to 7/8" coil connection
• Braze copper connections using silver solder or Phos-Copper. Use wet rag on aluminum side of connections to protect the aluminum/copper joint from damage of overheating.
• Leak check all connections and recharge the system using York's recommended refrigerant charge quantity.
