Cleanable coils for high-maintenance and high-sediment areas

HVAC coils get dirty. Cleanable coils are your solution for easy maintenance and cleaning. The cleanable coil design allows you to detach the headers by removing a pattern of bolts or plugs. The welded, box-style header can be located on either end of the cleanable coil or on both ends. Having removable headers on both ends allows for the internal tubes to be cleaned without clogging either end of the coil.

Coil tubes collect sediment and debris over time when they are using water from rivers, lakes, or well water systems. Removing the headers exposes all of the tubes for easy inspection and cleaning. Cleanable coils are effective in applications where mechanical cleaning of the coil tubes is required.

Cleaning standard HVAC coils takes time and effort, especially in areas were sediment and debris accumulates quickly. Because the headers are easy to remove, downtime and maintenance time are minimal. HVAC professionals have full access to the coil tubes and gasketing guarantees leak-free operation of the coils after maintenance.

Cleanable coils are available for chilled water coils hot water coils, and general heat transfer applications. We offer a variety of options for tube and fin materials, including copper, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Our cleanable coils can be customized to fit your needs. Emergent Coils’ coil specialists can recommend the materials that are most effective for your application based on your specifications and budget.
